The Lochgoilhead Hotel is within the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. Backed by mountains and overlooking Loch Goil it is in a beautiful location. Easy to get to being only 1 hour from the Erskine Bridge Glasgow Airport the M8. Lochgoilhead village is accessed from the Rest-and-be-Thankful pass via a 6 mile single track road. Use it as an ideal base for touring the Western Highlands including Inveraray Oban Loch Lomond and the Cowal Peninsula. Loch side setting bar and dining room patio with loch views leisure centre 1 mile away fishing boat hire marked walks. Winter Hours: Rooms open April to late October. Meals and bar area open all year Thursday pm to Sunday pm.

Overlooking Loch Goil in the Loch Lomond National Park this is a picture postcard setting. One hour north of Glasgow and two hours from Edinburgh. The hotel is part of the Drimsynie Estate which has lodges and holiday caravans surrounding the hotel as well as an excellent leisure centre. This is not a quiet hideaway location. Ideal for individuals or families looking for a nice location but a hotel with a leisure centre and entertainment. On offer is a swimming-pool a sauna Jacuzzi and steam room indoor bowling ice skating rink snooker table and so much more!The Estate and golf course hugs the shoreline at the north end of Loch Goil a fjord type sea loch. You can sit on the hotel patio enjoying a drink or meal and watching the boats on the loch a truly relaxing location! Should you be looking for something a bit more energetic there is plenty to do. Choose from a number of marked walking trails starting just minutes from the hotel or in the village which take you onto the hills and tracks. The views are somewhat worth the effort. The hotel's two fabulous restaurants serve an eclectic menu ideal for punctuating your day! All rooms and public areas were refurbished in June 2008. RE-FURBISHMENT NOW COMPLETE
