The Royal Hotel stands in the centre of town close to the harbour and ferry terminal. It's central position makes it ideal for visiting the West Coast of Scotland as well as the Islands of Mull and Iona. Built in 1895 the 3 Star AA awarded hotel offers traditional Scottish hospitality within quality modern surroundings. A small car park is located to the rear of the hotel and has limited parking(non guaranteed spacing). Our lounge and ceilidh bar have been refurbished to a high standard and we also now have FREE Wifi access in all public areas. All 91 comfortable bedrooms have private bathroom and all have colour television direct dial telephone hospitality tray hairdryers and central heating. Our Restaurant offers a fine selection of fresh Scottish produce complimented by an interesting range of wines. We also have an A La Carte restaurant which offers an excellent selction of meals. Situated on the first floor the Restaurant overlooks the Town Square. Relax over a pre dinner drink coffee or sample a wee dram from our fine selection of Scottish Malt Whiskies. Evening entertainment is a regular feature including the famous Scottish Show with Torquil the Piper.

A Victorian Hotel built in 1865 and 1901 of Scottish granite and sandstone. It stands as a landmark on the North Pier overlooking the town of Oban and Oban Bay to the Isles of Kerrera Mull and Lismore and the Mountains of Morven. Most of the rooms have seaviews; those remaining have views of the wooded hillside. All rooms are bright and airy; this is enhanced by the decor.

Why not stay at the hotel which our customers have described as having 'The Best View In The Bay' Step back in time and relax in our traditional Scottish family run hotel. The Donn family welcomes you to their home and small family hotel. The rooms are cosy and individually decorated in a traditional style in keeping with the 100 year old building. Rooms to the front have magnificent views over Oban bay. Golf fishing horse-riding sailing and swimming are all available within a short distance. Please note lat we have listed as a guest house as we operate on a bed and breakfast and room only basis and room sizes can vary. Please note that as the hotel has a pets welcome policy it may not be suitable for people with pet allergies. There is a central feature staircase in the hotel (and no lift) however the lowest bedrooms are on the second floor. As a small family run hotel we hope that your stay with us will feel more like a home from home rather than just a hotel as it has been our home for 29 years. Please provide an approximate time of arrival to avoid delays at check in. Standard check-in time is between 3pm and 9:30pm. Arrivals outwith these times are by arrangement only.

Private rooms are available in Glenavon which is a family home (NOT guest househotel) and as such rooms are normally let on a room only basis however a self service continental style breakfast can be arranged for a small additional charge please book breakfast in advance if required. Located only a few minutes walk from Oban town centre on the road to Glencruitten Golf Club and the nearby riding stables. The shared bathroom and most of the bedrooms are on the ground floor. All rooms have televisions with DVD players. The full amount plus card fee will be charged to your card upon booking.Credit Card surcharges 3.75% minimum surcharge £5.50. No surcharge for cash or cheque payments when paid at time of booking. Cheques can be made payable to Mr Donn and must clear before arrival. To try and ensure that some one is available to check you in an arrival time is requested. Arrivals outwith standard hours (15:00 to 21:00) by arrangement only. The accommodation in this hotel is very good with Scottish food available in the dining room. The Kelvin Hotel is situated in a grade B listed building which is one of the oldest buildings in Oban. It enjoys an enviable location adjacent to the ferry terminal and railway station and within a few minutes walk of the centre of town. All of the front bedrooms enjoy stunning views over Oban bay towards the island of Kerrera and Mull beyond....

Invercloy Guest House is situated in the centre of Oban on the main hill underneath McCaig's Tower and is less than a 5 minute walk into town.Please note in response to changing customer requirements and requests we operate on a room only basis and our prices reflect this.Invercloy has 5 bedrooms including 2 twins 2 doubles and 1 single room. Three of the west facing bedrooms have spectacular and uninterrupted views over Oban bay to Mull Lismore and beyond.You can see the views from our photo's. The 2 east facing bedrooms overlook the garden. We have a mixture of private and shared facilities.We are situated on the hill above the distillery.The bedrooms are decorated in neutral tones and all have goose feather duvets plump pillows and crisp white cotton sheets and pillowcases. Blankets are also available. The generous hospitality tray is well stocked with fair trade products.All rooms have televisions with remote controls hairdryers clock radio alarms and shaver points.Our rooms are spotlessly clean and guests ofen comment on this.The elevated terrace at Invercloy has wooden furniture where guests are very welcome to use for a eating and to enjoy a glass of wine whilst watching the sun set.We are a completely non-smoking establishment except on the terrace.There is parking on the street at the front and back of the house with no restrictions.Invercloy is a family business and you will be assured of a warm welcome.We are happy to help with any requirements you may have e.g planning a trip or booking a restaurant.Customers are requested to pay on arrival with debit card cashcheque or credit card.Check in times are between 4pm - 9pm.
